Senior Account Executive - Investor Platform

As a Senior Account Executive at Visible, you will not only drive revenue growth for the company but also work closely with our leadership to continually improve the sales motion at Visible. We want to hire a proven SaaS Senior Account Executive to manage our sales pipeline, qualify leads, and close deals. 

About Visible: 

Visible is on a mission to help startup founders succeed. We’re a profitable, established software startup of 15 fully remote teammates and have been set up this way since the company was founded in 2015 (we have this whole remote work thing down). We’re looking to add a Senior Account Executive to drive revenue for our portfolio monitoring and reporting software platform used by hundreds of Venture Capital firms worldwide. 

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for driving new revenue for Visible’s portfolio monitoring and portfolio insights platform. You will effectively nurture inbound prospects and pipeline deals while maintaining an average 30-day sales cycle. You can problem-solve independently and bring a curious mindset to the role. You will communicate effectively with C-suite decision-makers and skillfully handle deal negotiations. This role requires someone to be able to identify opportunities for improvement in the sales process and implement new solutions. In the first 90 days, you will likely: 

  • Become familiar with all features on the Visible for Investors software platform. 

  • Understand our ideal customer profile (ICP) and the unique challenges they’re trying to solve with Visible.

  • Perform 30 45-minute demos independently. 

  • Closed at least four deals from start to finish. 

  • Ramp up to hit the demo to close a conversion rate of 15% or above. 

  • Have command of our CRM (HubSpot) and be nurturing your own pipeline. 

  • Suggest and implement 2-3 improvements or changes to sales collateral, processes, and pipeline development (with the help of our marketing and design team). 

  • Bring new and informed ideas to the team and carry them through to execution. 


  • 5+ years of quota-carrying software or technology sales with a track record of consistently beating your quota 

  • Demonstrated ability to skillfully uncover a prospect’s true roadblocks and thoughtfully speak to how a solution fits into their current workflows 

  • Strong self-starter with proven ability to execute process improvements, independently

  • Enjoys going the extra mile to problem-solve and win deals 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills 

  • Comfortable working in a startup environment

  • Preferred: Experience selling fund administration tools, working in the venture capital ecosystem, and/or selling to CFO or General Partner persona is preferred.

Compensation: Base salary is $75k-$95k, and on target earnings are $150k - $190k. 50/50 base salary to variable compensation split. Varies depending on experience.
